How do I open a new account?
You can open a new account by calling us or at branch near you. You can reach us at 1-800-944-BANK(2265) or find a branch near you.
When will I receive my ATM/Debit Card?
You should receive your card(s) within 7-10 business days. If you don't receive it after 10 business days, please contact a branch representative at 1-800-944-2265.
Do you charge non-sufficient fund (NSF) fees?
No, Sterling Bank & Trust no longer charges NSF fees.

*APY = Annual Percentage Yield. The APY only applies to new accounts and existing accounts with an additional deposit of $25,000 that is not already in another account at Sterling Bank and Trust, FSB or is in a Certificate of Deposit at Sterling Bank and Trust, FSB which matured today or within the past 7 days. APY is effective as of 04/15/2024 and is subject to change without notice. Minimum balance requirements. You must deposit $25,000 to open this account. Maximum balance to earn the APY advertised is $999,999.99. To qualify for the APY, you must open an Eagle Checking account. In addition, you must apply for membership into an Ambassador Money Market Club account, make an opening deposit of $25,000 into an Ambassador Money Market Club Account, and maintain a minimum monthly statement cycle balance of $25,000. Rates are compounded daily and paid on the entire balance in the account on a monthly basis. Fees may reduce earnings. Club membership is not automatically triggered by the balance in your account. You must apply for and maintain the minimum balances specific to each club.

The 7-month CD APY is a promotional rate effective 04/15/2024 and subject to change without notice. The 7-month CD requires a minimum balance to open and obtain the APY of at least $25,000.00 for new accounts with money that is not already in another account at Sterling Bank and Trust, FSB OR $500.00 if the money comes from a Certificate of Deposit at Sterling Bank and Trust, FSB which matured today or within the past 7 days. Penalty will be imposed for early withdrawal. The maximum Certificate of Deposit amount is $1,000,000.00. CD promotional rates and products are not eligible for Club premiums.
